And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matthew 28:18:18
Our resurrected King has authority over death. He showed this when He came to this world and overcame death by laying His life down and then raising it up on the third day.
By Christ?s authority over death, Jesus was resurrected. He layed down His life, only to take it up again. He alone has authority over death. This includes the lives of those who believe in Him and those who do not. To those who believe in Him, He promises life, life eternal, to be with Him forever. And to those who do not believe and trust in Him, their end is hell, eternal torment, and separation from the love the Lord.
Christ also showed His authority by raising Lazarus from the dead:
John 11:1-15, 41-44:
1 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) 3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. 4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. 5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. 6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. 7 Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again. 8 His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again? 9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. 10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him. 11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. 12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. 13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. 15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
And
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Christ has this authority because He is God! Lord of all. He made us! Listen to what Deuteronomy says:
Deuteronomy 32:39:
39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
Jesus is God. For there is no one else but He, as it says ?there is no god with me?. He is Lord over all!
When Jesus Christ laid His life down for us-by His authority-He won the battle of sin and death. Sin had its grips on us, but when Jesus gave up his life and washed us from our sins by the shedding of His blood, we were rescued from sin and death.
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 KJV:
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
God had planned all these things out, the redemption of mankind was part of the plan of God before the world began because He knew everything that would happen in advance.
So then why do bad things happen in the world? Or if everything is planned out why do bad things still happen? It?s because of free will. God gave Adam and Eve a free will in the beginning. Without this free will that God provided for His creation, we would be robots just following orders and accepting commands. Adam and Eve out of there own free will chose to rebel against Him, and so because of that we now live
in a corrupt environment, where sin crept into our lives, and so we died (Genesis 2:17). For a more in-depth look at the questions we humans ask God:

But, God was still in control. He had a plan. Jesus came and showed us His authority over death and saved us. With great love, He laid down His life for His saints, for those He made. He was handed over to the people, and the crucified Him. Was it by the authority of the Jews or the Romans that He died? No, surely not. For when they were about to arrest Jesus, the soldiers and some officials asked for Jesus, and so this was what happened: ?Now when He said to them, "I AM He," they drew back and fell to the ground. John 18:6?.I encourage you to go read my mother?s post on this as it is explained better there, but for now, I will quote what she said there: ?They were soldiers, they had no fear, yet they fell to the ground!
What can make a person who do not even believe in Jesus to fall to the ground? What happened at that moment. Put yourself in the shoes of those soldiers. What did they see to act in such a way. They saw Jesus for who He really is. Jesus revealed to them His deity and pushed His humanity away for that moment in time (https://jesusthroughmyeyes.com/jesus-the-great-i-am).? How after such an experience can you still bind someone up? It is because of Christ?s authority. Our God?s decision, not man?s.

For me, this is an encouragement. Because I can know that I am in the hands of my King who loves me. All authority has been given to Christ. Let?s think for one moment, what would Satan have done if Christ gave him the authority to do what he wants. Satan would have killed us long ago. But brothers and sisters rejoice! Satan has no authority over us. It is Christ whom we belong to. And how great it is to be in
the hands of God who loves us more than we can imagine! Jesus says that it brings the Father great pleasure to give us the kingdom! Love you all
Revelation 1:18:
17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
John 11:25-26
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
