The Word of God says He even look after the birds and that not one hair of your head will fall without Him knowing. That is BIG. Really big.

I doubt that we really understand what God is saying right through the Bible. Do not fear is mentioned so many times. I've seen scholars say the word fear is mentioned over 500 times and fear not something like 365. It can be wrong, but clearly God means it. He will not talk about fear that often for nothing.

I am still reading through Exodus and what is amazing. I have read Exodus many times before, but each time God shows me other things.

Exodus: 12: 34 - 35

34The Israelites took their bread dough before yeast was added. They wrapped their kneading boards in their cloaks and carried them on their shoulders. 35And the people of Israel did as Moses had instructed; they asked the Egyptians for clothing and articles of silver and gold. 36The LORD caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the Israelites, and they gave the Israelites whatever they asked for. So they stripped the Egyptians of their wealth!

My Thoughts:

To get back to the fear part. We most often fear the future, because it is uncertain and we do not know what will happen. All we see is the destruction that happens around us. It comes in many forms, most of it is because of humans. People who are stubborn, selfish, and who just do not want to repent from their ways. They truly believe that their wealth, health, achievements and power comes from their own hard work, efforts or some even consider it luck. Oh how blind they are. It saddens me to see how people believe this and the worst part, I was at a point in my own life when I also believed that.

We need to understand this. You can work as hard as you like or believe what you want to. Only God has the last say. He can either choose to bless you or not. The mere fact that you are breathing right now is by His grace. When we look at the verse above we can see that the Lord caused the Egyptians (who do not believe in Him) look favorably on the Israelites and gave them what they asked for. Is that not amazing. It means, as a Christian, or rather say a Follower of Christ, you should not fear anything. No matter what happens in this world. God promise to look after you. He will make sure all your needs are met. (NOT) wants. All the extra wealth you have is a blessing. There is nothing anybody in this world can do to you if God does not allow it.

Have faith, believe what His word says. Seek His Kingdom first. Love people. Care for people. Help those in need and pray for your enemies.

He is and always will be JEHOVAH JIREH!
