Wow...there is nothing better than reading your Bible and feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit take over. The peace, the love that overwhelms my soul! I do not know who this post is for today but I know it is for someone out there that needs to hear that your GIANTS can be defeated, all you need is JESUS.

Before you read this post, go and read these lyrics, then go listen to the song, then come back to read the post!

I raise a hallelujah

In the presence of my enemies

I raise a hallelujah

Louder than the unbelief

I raise a hallelujah

My weapon is a melody

I raise a hallelujah

Heaven comes to fight for me

I'm gonna sing in the middle of the storm

Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar

Up from the ashes hope will arise

Death is defeated, the King is alive

I raise a hallelujah

With everything inside of me

I raise a hallelujah

I will watch the darkness flee

I raise a hallelujah

In the middle of the mystery

I raise a hallelujah

Fear, you lost your hold on me

I'm gonna sing in the middle of the storm

Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar

Up from the ashes hope will arise

Death is defeated, the King is alive

Read Exodus 14:1-14

1Then the LORD gave these instructions to Moses: 2?Order the Israelites to turn back and camp by Pi-hahiroth between Migdol and the sea. Camp there along the shore, across from Baal-zephon. 3Then Pharaoh will think, ?The Israelites are confused. They are trapped in the wilderness!? 4And once again I will harden Pharaoh?s heart, and he will chase after you.a I have planned this in order to display my glory through Pharaoh and his whole army. After this the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD!? So the Israelites camped there as they were told.

My thoughts:

Still today, people in this world think they have the power over themselves. They think they care completely in control of their actions and thoughts. How ignorant are they. Again in this passage we see that again God harden Pharaoh's heart so that he will chase after the Israelites. He did not need to do that, he could just let the Egyptians leave them alone, but he planned it to that He can show His glory not only to the Egyptians, but also to the Israelites. He wants people to believe and to have faith but people always want to see miracles...and that is what God was planning for them. God never do something just because. He is all-knowing and only want the best for us. Using even our enemies to show His glory!

10As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them. They cried out to the LORD, 11and they said to Moses, ?Why did you bring us out here to die in the wilderness? Weren?t there enough graves for us in Egypt? What have you done to us? Why did you make us leave Egypt? 12Didn?t we tell you this would happen while we were still in Egypt? We said, ?Leave us alone! Let us be slaves to the Egyptians. It?s better to be a slave in Egypt than a corpse in the wilderness!??

13But Moses told the people, ?Don?t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. 14The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.?

My thoughts:

The Israelites again panicked and were afraid, because they focused on the enemy instead of focusing on what God is doing for them. Even after the 10 plagues, they still doubt God. God has done so much for us in the past. Miracles happening every day and yet we forget His goodness so many times. We forgot what He did yesterday and the day before. The fact that you are breathing and walking is by His grace, but we choose to focus on our Giants that are a mere tool in God's hands.

My friend, we need to wake up. Stand still for a moment and understand who God really is. He is bigger than your circumstances. Yes, worshipping Him, trusting Him does not mean that you will not face hardships, but what He promise is that He will be there right beside you. No matter what happens in this life, it cannot take your peace and love from God away.

Focus on what Jesus did for you on that cross. Accept Him today. Repent from your old ways. Seek His face and be set free forever!
