Words that pull heart strings, especially if you have built your house on the sand and life collapsed all around you. Still, my heart shouts daily: "Why did I waste my life like that! Why did I not listen. Why was I so stubborn and full of myself." I do believe, when your heart is touched by Jesus and your eyes open, you truly see how evil you are. Slowly, you start to really fall in love with Jesus, because you finally see what He did for you and is still doing daily through the Holy Spirit. It does not happen over night. It is a process to be refined. This process will never stop until you close your eyes on this earth, because we still live in a broken world.

Now, how do you build your house on "the" rock. The rock is Jesus and He gave us the written word; Bible, completely inspired by God.

We can also think of it this way: Just like an Architect creates a blueprint for the builder to work from, so did God gave us the Bible as a blueprint to build our "house" life in this world. If we do not follow the rules of the Blueprint and build according to it, and constantly stay in contact with the Architect when problems come up, your house will collapse. The Architect takes care when He draws up the plan and trust the builder to implement so that thousands of people can be saved. 

Can you see where I am going with this. The "rules" in the Bible is not there to make you suffer or keep you from enjoying life. It is there to protect you from building your house on sand. Every brick that you lay down will make your house stronger. Every time you consult the Architect (Jesus), building a relationship with Him, He give you a cornerstone that you add to your house to make it even stronger. 

Start building your house on the rock and experience the peace and love that no human can understand.
