Ephesians 5: 1 - 14

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 

Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. 

For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 

Therefore do not become partners with them; 

for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. 

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. 

But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light.

Therefore it says, ?Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you

Sexual sin is a topic that is often misunderstood or avoided in modern society due to its sensitive nature. However, it remains an important and integral part of biblical teachings. According to the Bible, sexual sin encompasses a range of behaviors such as adultery, homosexuality, and promiscuity, among others. In the Old Testament, such actions were punished by death. And yes, the new testament is brining us redemption, but that too is misunderstood to such lengths, that people actually think they just need to believe in Jesus Christ. The fact is, Satan also knows this and therefore is blinding people to believe that they can continue with their habitual sin...meaning, they know they are doing wrong, but yet they still practice the sin, because they believe they are forgiven. The Bible states it clearly in:

Matthew 7: 21 -23

"Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

When you really give your heart to Jesus, your own self need to die and the new you will rise in Christ. You will then become more like Him because you love Him and want to please Him. Even if it is impossible for men to please God, we need to become Holy because He is Holy. You cannot continue with the sin you have always done. There have to be a change in the way you live. You will slowly give up all the early pleasures that are keeping you from being Holy and you cannot do that by yourself.

• You need the Holy Spirit.
• You need the Word of God.
• You need to be in a relationship with Jesus and the only way to get that is by changing.
• You read the Bible every day. You pray all the time.
• You avoid places and things that does not glorify God.
• You go to church. And yes, people will say, but I watch church on the TV. That is not church my friend. The Bible teaches us to be part of a community of believers where you pray and worship together. The world has corrupted the thoughts and minds of believers, making them think it is ok, but it is not. Remember, not all that looks good is God.

To stay on topic. What is Sexual Sin then?

It is anything that you do to and with your body, outside of marriage. God made male and female organs to fit together like a puzzle for the main purpose of reproduction. He also gave the man a helper called Eve. Male and female he made them. Creating the perfect situation for happy families. One man, one woman (marriage) Anything outside of that is adultery, lust, sexual sin.

We need to remember that our bodies are Holy. If you are a reborn person in Christ, you cannot do things that does not glorify God.

Think about it this way: Will you feel ashamed of what you are doing if Jesus was standing right next to you?
