That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Ephesians 1:17
Have you ever wondered why some people just seem to know so much of the Bible and the ?secrets? in the Bible? You can read a passage a hundred times and never truly understand it. It has happened to me many times.

Even as a Christian, a follower of Christ, we do not know and understand everything that is written in the word of God and there is a reason for that. Our minds, understanding, and wisdom are limited and revelation is needed for the things you can?t know until God reveals them to you. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Revelation who showed the writers of Scripture what to write and who guided them to write accurately the revelation of God. The same Holy Spirit embedded in the words of the Scriptures are there to minister to those who read it, so when you let the Word of God enter your life, the Holy Spirit enters your heart to influence you. You will start to change and the more you read His Word, the more is revealed.
Jesus was so right when He said that drinking the water of this earth will never satisfy your thirst, but when we drink the water He gives us, we will never thirst again. It does not only satisfy the emptiness inside us but that living water reveals so much of who Jesus is. We start to understand more and more about the word of God. Things that you have read a thousand times, just jumped out of the pages one day when you least expect it. So much that you stand in awe. ?How could I have missed it all these years??
Those people I am referring to at the beginning of this post...they do not just know it...it was revealed to them because they spend time with God. They read His word and God reveals to them what they need to know.
Let?s not be lazy in our daily tasks. We all have 24 hours in a day. God said: ?Seek the Kingdom of God first, and the rest will be given to you.? God made time and believe me, He will make sure you get done what you need to get done. Just put Him first.
